I still play myself every Friday night so not a bandwagon soccer fan but like said above, its fun to watch the best in the world compete. I've played soccer all my life and the World Cup is heavenly. There's no reason to hate on soccer and the World Cup just because it's not your sport. I hate the band wagoners too, but that happens regardless of what sport or event it is (I.e. Olympics, NCAA tournament, etc.).

ive played rec/club soccer during my entire youth, and i find it extremely boring to watch. i will say the usa/portugal game was pretty entertainting though, i just cant believe the us got lazy on defense and made a few costly half-assed passes allowing portugal to make one last run at the end.

I don't watch soccer normally but the World Cup is an exception. This one has been especially entertaining. I guess I'm a bandwagonner, but I would just like to see US get out of group play.

For the past couple years until last year I was playing every Friday night as well, indoor league. Once I get this injury fixed I'll be playing again hopefully soon.
