By then everybody will think it's safe to get out on the road -Have Fun!!

I'm here till 6p. Yesterday was started with a UCW, that was walking to the constables office to make a complaint. Then moved onto a felony traffic stop, then to catching a guy with a little indecent exposure on the highway. Today 35 and 20 turned into a sheet of ice, and between all that three solid family violence calls. People hate being cooped up. Keep Rollin,Rollin,Rollin.

Same here. No such thing as a "weather day" for us. You guys make sure you get all the wrecks cleared up before evening shift comes on...

Only one accident so far that was cleared with blue forms. I'm just sitting at the sub station waiting for calls.

LOL One of the many advantages to working from home....but the downside is there's no such thing as a bad weather day unless power, internet, and the cellphone all go out.

went in at 6:30 or so (machinist). the drive in didn't bother me, i was more worried about not being able to get home in the afternoon. luckily it's not too bad out here in g-town, and i only have a 4 mile commute without bridges.

Went in for a few and caught up on things with the lack of customers. Then headed home early. I travel I30 from arlington to 35/ dallas north tollway and didn't think the roads were bad, just crazies who drive to slow and can't figure out how to ease the gas and brakes on a little ice.

I almost called in since the new map pack came out today, I was going to sit at home and play COD all day, but I'm a slave to my job apparently, lol.

I called my boss and he said not to come in so I did end up playing the new maps pretty much all day. I had to stop and log on a few times, but I'd say I did a solid 6 hours from 8:30 until 5:30.

Postal service is running. Just saw the mail get delivered. Do I dare walk to the mailbox in my pajama pants?

They didn't come to my house.

i'm at work today again.. but if fed ex doesnt show up with our package, we have no work.

Yesterday they said Fed Ex would be delayed by 4 or 5 hours... and didnt even show up yesterday at all.

I'm at work again today as well... No power when I got into work though in Farmers Branch.

Holy shit the roads are a LOT better today except around my job on welch and sigma area sheeeeesh it's nothing but sheets of ice no one has drivin on them.
