I changed jobs and they are not offering medical. Really need some different opinions on the company's out there. If you know a broker or can give me some good info on coverage would be much appreciated.

in my mid 20's i used BCBS for a while when i paid out of pocket for my insurance. I want to say it ran me ~130/mo, which oddly enough is what i pay for my employer sponsored health insurance.

If you are paying out of pocket and in your 30's its seems the going rate with the new obummer care is 260-270 a month.

I called bcbs and the best for my wife and I is 786 including dental. Just wondering if that seemed a little bit much.

Health Insurance has really gone up,

and will go up more after Nov. 1, 2014

You're better off keeping a shitty job, as long as the health insurance is cheaper than you can buy it on your own.


Last time I checked, it was somewhere in the area of 650.00 a month with dental for basic coverage
