Damn they got his assistant too.
Price’s longtime executive assistant, and political consultant Kathy Nealy also were arrested
This is potentially much more interesting. JWP was obviously corrupt but someone was buying what he was selling (Cough Cough Perots Cough Cough) and Nealy was/is incredibly connected, hopefully they are going after bigger fish.

I really haven't looked in to the details of all this, or kept up with it. I did just read a long ass article from DMN. LOL at the fact that one of the FBI agents working on this, is the same guy that took down Al Lipscomb for accepting bribes from a cab company, Nick Rizos (Caligula, The Lodge, Stratos), and others.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

It's hard to turn down free stuff when all they are asking you to do is your job and be their friend. It goes from having a "buddy" paying your tab at a bar for letting him know about an upcoming project to getting to use their suite at the AAC for letting them know who else is bidding. Then when you tell them what to bid you get to use their Bentley and live in their mansion.Originally posted by 564826 View PostWhy is it what when people come into power they them selves become corrupt?
Then before you know it you have an entire district that blindly votes for whatever you tell them. You have so much free stuff coming in you have to launder it through a bunch of antique stores and car washes. Then you hook up with guys that own strip clubs, vending companies, bingo parlors, etc... It turns into an organized mass of corruption. Some people can keep it running and others go to prison.

It's really not if you have scruples, I've been turned down for simply picking up the lunch tab as many times as I've offered. The state of California has laws about this very thing, and everyone I've been in contact with, in the 5 years I've been out here, abides by them.Originally posted by BP View PostIt's hard to turn down free stuff when all they are asking you to do is your job and be their friend.
