= Want to trust that you dont run your hand over the same guardrail where fluids may be, encounter vomit from patient 1 and soon to be patient 2, or that the infected's plumbing doesn't break/ back up and spread contaminated waste into your apartment. If I was neighbor I would be asking for a hotel room.

The CDC reports the ebola can live on a surface for six days. Think about that, holding on to that hand rail walking up the stairs, after that guy was touching it.

But I keep hearing that it is not airborne.

An American freelancing for NBC News in Liberia has tested positive for the Ebola virus, the news network announced Thursday.

The 33-year-old cameraman started showing symptoms of the virus on Wednesday — one day after hired as a second cameraman for NBC News Chief Medical Editor and Correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman.

The man, whose name is being withheld at his family’s request, had been working in Liberia for the past three years before contracting the virus, according to NBC.
