Its all going to Louisiana apparently... An we have 4 rooms dedicated to a single patient if it happens. They will build a temporary wall to seal off the rest of the ICUOriginally posted by Denny View PostDefinitely scoop up the barrels! It wasn't a stretch from the truth when they were talking about the back up of bioshit they had (to the ceiling). If you get a patient with Ebola, it'll be coming out of every end eventually.
Do you transport it off or incinerate locally?

I have seen several comparisons of ebola to other diseases that kill many more people every year. I am curious as to why it is even considered. It has been a 3rd world problem. People in these countries don't have near the same lifestyle and mobility that we have. They don't come into contact with near the number of people that we do on a daily basis. So saying a disease that is reported within our borders for the first time is much less worrisome than other diseases or illnesses that have a long history in our American society is ridiculous. This incident proves that our arrogance or complacency makes us just as incapable of handling an outbreak. Maybe it is a lack of full understanding of the disease and its traits. With the CDC involved there were still 70+ people exposed to the first patient, presumably all in inadequate PPE. Combine that with our society being self centered, a la the girl who flies to Cleveland to plan her wedding.
Maybe I am lacking the appropriate knowledge to comment on the situation.Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.

If I'm reading the thread right, according to you, the CDC was ok telling her to board the plane since her fever wasn't high enough.Originally posted by 8mpg View PostSad thing is...she called the CDC to see if it was ok"Self-government won't work without self-discipline." - Paul Harvey

well they didnt tell her it was not ok that she was quarantined and needed to stay home. Blame the government for the exposures. If they were worried they should have told her not to goOriginally posted by GhostTX View PostIf I'm reading the thread right, according to you, the CDC was ok telling her to board the plane since her fever wasn't high enough.
