I'd take 85% profit and move the fuck on. Unless you plan on and can afford to store the thing forever, it's not going to be a wise investment over time. Yes, it will appreciate, but you'll spend more on storage and insurance than you'll gain.

Grape might have sold his car if he would have made any serious effort to sell it. "It looks like a Mustang.." He wouldn't put up any decent pictures of it or seriously respond to any reasonable requests. That's his prerogative, and I got the sense he wasn't even interested in selling it anyway.

I know good money for a hatch... he wants it. I would make a decent profit. Car has some minor exterior flaws too...not much but they are there like any car that is 20 years old.

One reason I'm considering is that I would love a simple car like I have HCI plus a blower... hate to start tearing this car up by beefing up the drive train and so on.

This car is just so rock solid that it's tough to let go of... not going to find another one as tight as this... or as original. Fucking thing smells new inside.

I know I could do it to this car and take it easy on it. Be able to strip it all off and sell as stock too.

There isn't a big market for high dollar foxes, might want to take it. No telling how long you'd wait to get an offer like that again. It'll end up like Grape's coupe.

Initially I hit him at 13.5 as from what I have seen, that is top dollar for a similar hatch. This is a rare as fuck color that means alot to him apparently. Taking your guys advice and trying to get add much as I can if I do sell it

Look up the highest paid price on paintings. Some of the shit going for 100 million dollars+ belongs to a few artists I've barely even heard of. The collector is the key: much like a car, it's an unobtanium. If someone will pay, their colors will show.
