very nice. I dig the blue and definitely prefer the LX

I had a bright red 89 GT as a kid, and I fucking loved it... and I've had a couple flame red Dodge trucks

But I will never buy another red car unless it's a ferrari. It's one of those love/hate colors, and I think more people hate it than love it. I think it looks slick, but my troubles in selling my red vehicles has me gun-shy of buying another

I like the black contrast with the molding. I think the solid color looks "cheap"...but many people see it the other way. I really don't think he would take $8k as he told me to just stay at home.

93 cobra that isn't clapped out for under 10k? Not going to happen from corral or 93cobra registry. I haven't seen one in the past year that didn't need quite a bit of work for less than 12k. I'm more comfortable in the $8k range as I don't have cow skin rug money.
sorry it took so long to get back. i was searching for a black interior car and he emailed me out of no where with the red lx. had no interest. the blue one looks bad ass. good luck.

UPDATE: While trying to work out a deal on the red car that was across the country I found the car I'm going to get

1993 w/ documented 30k miles and I will be the 2nd owner. It is ultra clean except the passenger mirror which will be fixed. It has mild mods to keep me happy and I think I'm getting a pretty fair deal on it. I love the Royal Blue as I haven't seen it often.

Got a close up of the plugs and they are black and say ziebart on them. Thanks for the idea though as it made me clarify for sure.

IF the plugs are yellow, more than likely it's Ziebart ( well they were when I had the Ramcharger done)

It's a dirty job to remove it, but it can be done.

Back east a car that was Ziebart treated usually brought a few more bucks as you were pretty sure it wasn't a rustbucket. Guys also used to pour engine oil in the trunk, doors and rocker panels..

They also sprayed some stuff into the door apparently as there are a few plugs in the door.

How would you suggest removing it? You made it sound easy however reading about it sounds agonizing.

I'm also curious how you guys think the ziebart effects low mileage value.

Me too... 17in Pony R's though... Never had chrome wheels but think they would look good on it. Hopefully going to work something out. The GT sold before I could go look at it in person.

I would love to have that hatch in my garage on a set of ponies.

I believe it is ziebart. It is pretty evident the car never stayed outside and I highly doubt it ever saw salt. I have seen underbody pictures and it appears.to have been.coated but nothing stuck out to me in a bad way. I will try to upload a photo of the engine bay and under the door.

If the rustproofing is Ziebart, its not difficult to remove. You do need very detailed pics of the bottom side due to the salt use in the winter.

Thats a good idea. Finding a nice body with those mods in my price range will he difficult.

I got detailed pics of the car. The thing that concerns me is it has rustproofing that is visible on the inside bottom of the door. Also underhood uas the same treatment and makes the engine bay appear more dirty.
