Had one at work at 7:50 AM to 8:45 were scrambling at the end as the UPS was under 8 minutes left in one of our Data Centers (non-qualified DC so no backup generator).

News said that two power plants went down. How is that regulations fault?

there's so much to type, it would be better if you did a google search about it...there's quite a bit of information out there. it has done a great job of screwing up the entire system; not just at the generation level, but the maintenance of the system, etc. it has all gone down hill. just out of curiosity, did you ever even hear of rolling blackouts 10+ years ago? (aside from hearing about it in california)
