2011 cooper hardtop 6spd manual all stock. I've found when you start effing with mods on these cars the fuel economy goes to shit, but in stock form with 15" wheels this little turd is a blast to drive and awesome mpg.Originally posted by sc281 View Post50.3?!? Seriously? What model year, what's done to it? Might need to look into one if the mileage is THAT impressive.

That's pretty cool, man. Autobahn brings out the BMW i3 all-electric car out all the time. That thing is neat as hell. I don't think I could justify the asking price ($41k base).
PS - The Ranch in Las Colinas has a free charging station. Every time I've been I see a different color Leaf parked there, lol.

The only issue the Volt has going against it is it's looks. The damn thing is hideous. Even prices have been dropping to the point you can get one for roughly $28k after the tax credits. Otherwise I wouldn't mind having one. I've even got 220 already wired in the garage so I'm ready when I eventually do go with an electric/hybrid.Originally posted by Back N Black View PostI know it's not a leaf, but I had a volt for a rental for a while and enjoyed the shit out of that thing. My daily mini crapper gets 50.3mpgs so going into an electric would be almost null for me I would assume.
A new Volt is going to be introduced at the Detroit Auto Show. Maybe they'll fix its one flaw..

In before Dirty Mike and the Boys."Using round numbers, this car will cost me $200 per month for the payment, and I spend a little over that on gas for my 11 year old car every month, nevermind maintenance and upkeep."Originally posted by mschmoyer View PostDid you go from a paid for gas guzzler to a $20k loan on an new electric car? The fact it's completely stupid? They were projecting a great full electric range, and they released a joke. I remember people being stupefied.Originally posted by Sgt Beavis View PostThe only issue the Volt has going against it is it's looks. The damn thing is hideous.
