  • Cheapest way to ship wheels/tires?

I listed a set of wheels/tires from my wife's car on ebay. Appears the going rate to ship them is $150-250, so I put in $180.

Well some asshat (me) decided to do a $1 no reserve, and they sold for a whopping $20 with $180 shipping. I checked UPS ground, and the total to the buyer is $300.

Any ideas on what the cheapest way to send is? I don't mind giving them away (as I am here), but I'm not going to lose another $100 just to send them to some dickhole in Michigan.

    lol!!

I've heard shipping by Greyhound bus is a good, inexpensive option. Never done it myself though.

We strap ours to a pallet, wrap it in shrink wrap, and send it out through a truck freight company. But you probably don't have the means to do all that.

Pallets are easy to find, you could use rope to secure them to the pallet. Then figure out what truck freight company has the best rates.

Or tell him that shipping is a lot more and that he should pay it.

That's what I've done so far, I'm not too keen on putting a lot of work into giving something away.

Worse comes to it, fuck 'em and I'll just refund him.

Yeah, just refund him then put them on Craigslist list and not to ship.

Yeah, just did. It's not like I ever sell on ebay, so fuck it.

If it's not something I can just drop off at the post office, I hate shipping it.

                              As you should be.

I refunded him. He's not happy with me right now.
