We have a 9 month old pup and she still has shit for brains. Cute as all hell, but damn. It had been over a decade since we had a puppy and I forgot what a pain in the ass they are. That said, much like kids, it's totally worth it for the intangibles.

I dare you to be mad when you've got a sleeping puppy on you. Not possible.

One of the white males, when he looks at you the fur between his eyes forms a mohawk and there's another that discovered my porch is slick concrete. He spent 20 minutes trying to get to my front door, growling and sliding but unable to keep his feet under him. The more he fell, the madder he got and he'd keep trying to get up. I finally put him in the grass so he could go play but he wasn't giving up. He'd fall down, look around, growl and bark at the concrete and try it again with the same thing happening

Many puppies look like pits when this young. My heeler/golden doo mix looked like pits at the begining.
