Guy owns Bugatti, loses control and crashes into the Galveston bay. He tells the insurance company that a pelican flew into his path and he took evasive maneuvers to not hit it and Bugatti becomes Red October.
Someone was following him just video taping a Bugatti going down the road and the Insurance co. sees the video (no pelican anywhere in the video), files fraud charges, home skillet goes to jail and the car has been bought and sold several times.

Now this guy who buys exotic cars wants to buy it (VINWiki), but not the asking price its selling for at the moment...

The best part is the mechanic got it for free with a mechanics lien.

Stretch was the bugatti guy's friend that had the veyron on his trailer pre-pelican. I remember his posting something like "a million dollar car on a $2500 trailer" or something like that.

That is how I remember it. Pelican guy was in Longview and specialized in wrecked Ford GT's and parts before the Bugatti, the gas monkey idiots bought one off of him on the TV show.


If I remember correctly he had a million dollar interest free loan from a friend on the Bugatti and 2 million in insurance when he wrecked it.
