I don't know how to explain it, other than the rear end looks droopy. The front looks good, though.
yeah, starting at the front it looks decent, then the further back down the side you look, the worse it gets. That gas cap is fugly with the way it has that little edge molded into it.
It almost looks like the car was made by Stretch Armstrong, and he wanted to pull out the back end some. Just doesn't flow right, IMO.
If you painted this yellow one green, you couldn't tell these 2 apart!
x2 on the foxbody. dark emerald green hatch, coyote, upgraded brakes and suspension.... I really like the 13-14's, I wonder how many people would trade it in for this.
Dark emerald green or even bullit green would look great in these new ones I think.

Now you listen to me, jerkoff: if you're not part of the solution, you're a part of the problem. Quit being part of the fucking problem and put the other guy back on!
I hate to point it out but some cars are ass ugly and stay that way. The Mustang IIs have never been popular. The 71-73 are on the fence. The 79-82 fox cars even looked like shit. Maybe if they do something similar to what they did with the fox this car might look better but there are areas in the body that I don't care for. I don't care for the way the trunk meets the back window or the way the ass end hangs out, those things aren't going to change.
Yeah, time has not been kind to the years you mentioned and for the most part I agree. That said, I personally don't think the 15 suffers from the problems that those did. But, eye of the beer holder and all that.
Time is on my side. This happens every time a car gets redesigned; everybody freaks out. Happened in 94. Happened in 99. Happened in 05 and 2010 too. 2 years from now a big chunk of the board will have this new body style and the consensus will have shifted.
What will be interesting is if you do the same, or if you remember this conversation and decide to be heard-headed about it. I don't really care either way. You did seem to like the 05 though...

By that definition, the vast majority of stock cars look bad. Maybe it's a perception difference, I'm just focusing on the intrinsic aesthetics of the car. Body shape and proportion. We all know wheels and stance help and are easily changed.

The stance looks wrong, the ass end looks too narrow, and the way the whole front end slopes downwards all make it look ugly from a rear side shot. From the front angles look right. The rear view just looks all wrong.
Wheels/stance/trim are half of the looks, if not more. So yes, these items make or break the overall impression and the yellow one looks like shit, as do any stock v6's of old. That gray one above - tits.
