I purposely went to the Dallas Auto Show earlier this year to see the new Mustang. It looks much better in person. While there are elements of the car that I don't care for - taken as a whole, I think the car is (still) better looking than the Camaro and Challenger. And, to my eye, the car has a more upscale look to it. The multifaceted taillights, in particular, are a nice bit of detailing that photos don't really capture. In comparison the Camaro looks cheap and plastic.
Yeah those POS had some funky ass alternator that ran like $800 bucks. One off deal, only for the probes...Bad deal. Looks like they have come down a bit. Only $275 now...http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1468&ppt=C0330

I said it once, and I'll say it again. We heard all this bitchin' and moaning back in 2005 and again in 2010 when the new and refreshed Mustang's came out.
Then they arrived and most everyone fell in love with them.
But I do hear where some of you are coming from. The rear does look odd in pictures. I haven't gotten to see one in person so I reserve final judgement until I do. From what I've seen, the 'vert looks really good. I normally don't like 'verts but I'm going to give this one serious consideration.
The car looks round and fat to me, am I the only one?
Yep, as much as I want to like it I am not so far. I kinda liked the 05's, love the 12's and like the 13-14's. With what I have seen, it looks like i will be buying 12-14 next year. I am also surprised nobody has commented on the huge flare out over the rear wheels. Looks like a Euro flare kit on a 80's BMW.
