It is pretty sad that an entire profession had the backing of the whole country after 9/11 and they are so fucking incompetent, abusive and petty that they have destroyed all of that goodwill and more on top of it. Then again maybe video and other surveillance technology is just exposing what was there all along and the public was foolish to begin with.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. I don't condone what he did since it seemed to be done without reason, but it should not take that large of a manhunt that long to find one guy.

Edit: Then again, it did take us 10 years to find Bin Laden.

So far that is all I have seen as well.

Edit: Several results on a google search claim he was a big fan of Che Guevara. That info comes from his supposedly scrubbed myspace page. If true it sounds like his motive was just being a communist asshole, but that is all I can find so far.

Even if there is one it would just be dismissed on a whim. Remember when the ex LAPD member went on the killing spree? They tried to act like he just got bad coffee in the break room one day....

I read on another forum that one of the cops may have been involved with his sister but there wasn't any kind of source too back it up. My gut tells me that there is more involved than just some nut randomly shooting at some officers. If he wanted to kill cops, he had plenty of opportunity too kill plenty more. Whether we get the full story is yet to be seen.
