I would be all over a ms3 before an ms6. Faster, and imo will hold it's value longer.

The awd aspect of the ms6 doesn't really seem to be worth it, and the ms3 will hold more cargo if you need it to, and get slightly better mpg's.

A stock ms6 will run a 14.0 at 99mph from what Ive read which is plenty for just driving to work and around town. Plus when the weather turns bad it will be a good car to drive in snow and ice. I know it doesn't happen often but it does happen.

That's a 14.0 achieved by dramatically reducing the life of an already weak diff.

Dammitsteve has/had one. If you can locate him, maybe you could take him out for many drinks and get his feelings on the matter.

It's a daily driver. It won't ever see a launch or track with me driving it so that probably won't ever happen.

I was just stating that what you're using as a reference to it's quickness is something you wouldn't see unless you tried to destroy it's weak diff.

The ms3 would on regular be a quicker car, larger aftermarket, and higher resale value. The AWD and preference in appearance seems the be the only thing the ms6 has going for it.

Pretty close to a WRX, but with more room and comfort. Automatic tranny option.
