Not saying it hasn't been hit but I would lean more towards delamination. Issues like that Were verrrrrry common on 90's to early 00's Fords, Dodges had even more issues. My main concern with a red car from that era is the red bleaching or that delamination continuing to spread.

I dont believe its been hit there on exam but its always possible. Paint in no way showed signs of blending or repaint. I wish you could see what I saw in person. The other side in the exact area would probably do the exact same thing. It feels kind of brittle under pressure. I believe its more of a delam issue as mentioned but was checking to see if that was a more common problem on the single stage enamels.

in the hatch picture. not toward the rubber trim but toward the edge that rolls over to the outside of the jam to the body. a couple inches higher than the vin sticker and to the right a touch. looks like a crack and above that a black pen mark or hairline crack curving down and to the left.Originally posted by akfodysvn View PostNot sure exactly what you are referring to.
paint looks like it was just poured in there

he will if he won't budge on price! that tach on the dash kills it too, for me anyway.Originally posted by akfodysvn View PostI see what you're saying. I saw that in person too. I am pretty sure the other side looked quite similar.
Thanks for the feedback.
I called on that reef blue 10k car in Austin. He won't budge on price and said he likely will just keep it.

Pretty sure that's the one that's been all over the facebook classifieds, and likely not what you're looking for.Originally posted by akfodysvn View PostOriginally posted by stevoNot a good idea to go Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor on the power phallus.
