I've always found stuff like that funny. One of my favorites is "It just needs a coil..."

Of course it just needs a coil. That dead hole couldn't possibly have occurred from the blown head gasket (true story).

thoughts???? I am not sure about the flashers but looks like about 1500 at least in work on the other items listed as problems
$300-400 tops for me. BUT asking that much most of that should be fixed

The blinkers/flashers is very likely the orange wire behind the hazard switch that came loose, same thing happened on my 92.

It's overall a nice car as advertised, but I'd be very leary of it until I really took a long hard look at it. Especially after getting into the deal I'm in now with mine. At the time I thought I was taking this guy for a ride, turns out we both fucked each other and neither of us managed to get off. Either way, he got something that was depreciating and I got a car that's only appreciating.

Oh I agree. He is down to 6300. I tallied it up and figure it's closer to about $2k in fixes.

              Stereo amp- varies
Trunklid- 3-400 easy painted and blended
trans-1500+ as i don't have the space to do the labor (one quote) but could find a cheap replacement if I had the space.
Needs a full catback... the tips are crazy big and one muffler is already shot
AC- easily a couple hundo to convert and replace all o rings
              Headlights
              etc etc etc

With all that though the rust free coupes are tough to find not beat to shit. Car is local and will get a look.

Are we somehow related? LOL I just sent that guy a PM about an hour ago.

I also HATE the hood and white face gauges but are easy fixes.

Thats how I felt but it's a clean coupe. He is down to 6300 though. No way in hell I could fix all that for 3-400...shit thats not even enough to buy a used and un-rebuilt t5 here. Fuck fixing the trunklid for 3-400 would be tough.

I'm still waiting on that calypso before I make any decisions.

              That sounds confusing!

I did some research on the flasher already as well. Came up w/ that as a possibility.

Always love the honest feedback on here. Reef blue is a great color. To me it's worth about 5500ish after I spend the time and money to get it cleaned up and in working order.

                      "... A/C just needs recharge..."

                      And it's 4-lug.

I know the ac needs o rings and charge for sure. Previous owners ad from 2 years prior says he just charged it prior to selling. SO obviously the system leaked out the refrigerant.

Why the 4 lug hate? It never has and never will bother me.

There's a lot more options for brakes and wheels. On a street car with power, cobra brakes are the best bang for the buck and open up a huge selection of shoes.

Oh i know that... I just meant why the "hate".

I am never going to be open road racing the car and they make axles plenty strong enough in 4 lug.

There's no hate. It's just a boner killer in 4 lug.
