I was speaking specifically to his point about luck and looking at economic models. When everyone was saying 50%, $1b doesn't even touch 10%. And you're right, there is a lot at play, especially when other attorneys were saying she was looking at $9-11b.

It is a lot, but she wasn't just some short term trophy wife either. They were married 26 years, had kids together, and didn't have a prenup. She also didn't just sit around the house welping his brats, she ran Continental's marketing department for some years. She has some rights to claim that her position and work had influence on the value of her husband's company.
