It really would be funny if it worked. Until they charged you with assaulting a police officer. Remember the sound is meant to cause temporary pain. But would be funny nonetheless.

Why haven't any protesters had the idea to use something against the cops like large scale stink bombs or a cage of skunks? Seems like that would disperse them and amuse me.

Pretty much. Throw a punch or fire a sound cannon, same charge yet they are free to rupture your ear drums for exercising your first amendment rights. Then again, we have to permit this because if we don't, no one will want to be cops.

I don't think most of them care. They do throw alot of shit at the cops like rocks and bottles and shit. I don't think arrests or charges are why they haven't started being more creative yet.

Cops should be thankful that the protesters are stupid and haven't overrun one of those neat sound cannons and seized it to turn it back on the remaining cops
