When you say younger without any line of demarcation it means absolutely nothing. I can say younger voters made Bush president and make a perfectly valid statement if the line I set is at 60. I don't know the actual data on Bush's first or second term, I was just using it as an example.

Standard voter demographics list voters in age groups of 18-29, 30-44, 45-64, and 65+. That is a standard demarcation that anyone can look up. Thus, younger voters make up the first two groups, and older voters make up the latter two groups. The younger voters did indeed elect Obama, both in 2008 and 2012.
