10,000:1 he's a fake. Can't remember his class number, OR his rate?! Gimme a fuckin break. As if there wasn't already reason to be suspicious, either of those two alone would be proof enough for me."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

Google Don ShippleyOriginally posted by samuel642000 View PostJust curious if anyone has an avenue to see if someone is legit or not.
I'm about 99% this guy (claiming to be a SEAL, which was his second statement to me) is a phony. He can't remember his BUDs class number, or his rate because, "it's been too long and he tucked it away in a deep dark place"
Is there a website I can forward his name and claimed service dates, to and confirm he is the scum I suspect he is?
Thanks in advance.
**EDIT*** Already tried stolenvalor.com and read they don't take requests.
I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

They stroke their ego. They take advantage of benefits and notoriety they did not earn.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostI don't hang around anyone inthe military community or know much about it, but what is the benefit of doing this?
Do you get a free gun at all gun shows or something?

I still remember my EMT class and Paramedic class number and the experience pales in comparison to BUDs. There is a ZERO percent chance that the guys from class 183* don't remember their class number. He is obviously a fakeOriginally posted by BMCSean View PostHe would remember his buds class number.
*i picked some random number that would only have significance to the guys is 183...lol
