Last 3 times I have been, I have asked for the bacon wrapped shrimp for appetizer, which they end up saying, "Sorry, we're out or don't have enough". What kind of shit is that. Fuckers are good..haha....Hell everything is good, at Grapevine location.

When I go I almost always get the rack of lamb as it is very difficult to find a place that does it perfectly and I eat steak more often than lamb. That said, all of the steak is fantastic as well. The creamed spinach is killer, and yes, eat the carrot as it is amazing. Figure on at least $200 for two people to eat and drink. Could be far more or a little less after gratuity depending on what you're drinking as they also have some very expensive wines. If you're going to the Plano location and you like Cabernet, last time I ate there we got a bottle of the Stack House Cab and it was like $65-$80ish and is a Napa wine so I didn't think it was that bad.

Try the milksteak boiled over hard and a side of jelly beans, raw.

Stay off your phone, enjoy the moment and go to the bathroom just before the check comes.

I order everything Jared said, but different steaks but I'm a ribeye guy. The Couete de Beouf is excellent. The bone in filet is excellent, when they have it. The veal chop is solid, as is the rack of lamb.
The smoked salmon is served cold, with toast points egg, onion, and capers. Delicious. The crab cake is pretty big, and as good as I've found around DFW. Drinks are double+ pours, so that's nice.
It may be too late, but Grapevine is the best location for consistency and good experience.

$50 each, but that comes with the carrot and potato. I like that they are so big, they cook perfectly, and anything smaller wouldn't fill me up. Seems like a lot of the other places don't have them that big and they also charge for the sides. Tiff rarely finishes hers, but we'll take it home and make nachos with it the next day. The appetizers and salad drive up the price, but they are all so dang good. OP, if you're gonna go, just go all out. It's worth it.Originally posted by AdamLX View PostHow much are those filets? I rarely go to Bobs, much less order a filet over 10oz so I don't doubt it.
