How is that useless? He was caught speeding and received a ticket. The solution would be to pay the ticket and stop speeding. I don't have a CDL but if I get caught speeding I would likely get a ticket. CDL holders should not get any special treatment, except of course the usual officer discretion that all officers use on occasion. He got a ticket. Pay it and stop speeding. This is not difficult.

Its not that simple, Last one cost me 500.00 to get it dropped to a tail light.
Every year you have to disclose any tickets you have received. Most employers dont like any thing that can cost them, insurance, legal actions from a accident.
Points can cost you your Job and any chance of working for any one worth working for.
My last one was my first in 20+ years. I would have paid 1k to make it go away.
You never know whats going to happen tomorrow.

Nobody knows what LANTIRN is. Even when I was on active duty the only people who knew what it was worked with it in some fashion.
