The bridge goes over the Keelung River, where the planed crashed.

I'm sure it would have been nice to help, but its been reported that visibility was 0% in the water along with freezing temperatures that divers have to work in 1hr shifts.

I'd love to be an internet hero too, but in all reality you could have ended up as another number in the death toll.

At 6 stories you'd be hitting the water at somewhere close to 44mph. It's not going to end well if you land any way other than straight up or down, even then it's really going to suck.
