If you've been looking, you know that it's near impossible to find a clean, stock, all-original car anymore. A few years ago, people were seeking those cars out and building their masterpiece, or whatever, out of them. Most of them are gone.Originally posted by RabidJackal View PostYeah, that silver notch is C-L-E-A-N, but no way I'd pay $10k for a bone-stock car that's 20+ years old. You can find plenty of those cars maybe a little less clean than that for $3-4k less.
Give it another few years and you'll wish you hadn't passed up your chance to buy that car at that price. Even being an auto.
Denny, I can't believe you haven't driven down there to check it out!

No you weren't. Because your ego is getting the best of you. Just wondering why. Makes you look a little childish. Who really cares who has owned or flipped more mustangs? That does not make you the god of fox body cars. Sure you know some stuff. Probably more than others. Other people still have their opinion. In my opinion you are being sensitive about this and trying to defend yourself for no reason. He had a different opinion than you about ssp cars and that set you off? He even actually agreed with and complimented you as being spot on. Still had to go and talk smack to him after about how many fox cars he has had.Originally posted by Whiteboy View PostWas I talking to you? Not easy to find clean coupes. I bought that silver coupe cheap the owner thank me for buying it cause he had a hard time selling it. part of the problem was his attitudeOriginally posted by RabidJackal View PostYeah, that silver notch is C-L-E-A-N, but no way I'd pay $10k for a bone-stock car that's 20+ years old. Was I talking to you? Why try to put me down?Originally posted by smrr1 View PostIt really makes no difference to me but why do you care so much? Everyone has there own opinions on what is worth something. What exactly is he jealous of? Flipping a bunch of worn out foxes? To be someone in the foxbody market? Big achievement in life. I don't know either of you but the petty attacks against each other is getting old. I wouldn't call flipping cars owning them. Even if I did it doesn't change someones opinion of what is worth something to them. I know that all makes way too much sense and is too rational for this website but just had to say it.

Nice find but......it's missing a pedal.Originally posted by Denny View Post
Seriously though that's a damn good deal. In the world of fox bodies, one that clean demands a premium, most are wore out!Last edited by Baba Ganoush; 02-28-2015, 08:33 AM.

I mean, I want the thing to be clean, but I don't expect it to be showroom like-new or bone-stock.Originally posted by smrr1 View Postagreed. if it was a 5 speed i'd consider going 8-9 or maybe even 9500 if it was 100% perfect but the auto is holding it back. a lot of people including myself get off on things in immaculate condition and are willing to pay too much for them. no doubt he will get it sold judging by what i can see in the pics.
What I'd have planned for it, it wouldn't matter anyway. I'd just want something that's in what I would consider "very good" condition, but not like "near mint" like that car is.
