How could one plug an electric guitar system to a car audio?

How could you plug an electric guitar to a car's sound system so you could tailgate with it, but without having to carry a separate guitar amp?

Possibly so; however your factory amps probably wouldn't tolerate it to well... If you have an aftermarket amp you could run it directly into it.

You'll get some sound like that but it'll be horrible. The pickups don't put out enough to get a decent strength signal.

Look into the Vox amplug. Yoou plug it directly into the guitar then plug the headphone out into the aux on your head unit.

Naw, nephew of mine. The kid can shred some mean 80's riffs. He wants to be able to open the hatch of his late 80's F body and jam at school. I can't fault him for that.
