I have a buddy who has a 15 model with the ecoboost and the driver door has fallen off 3 times. He's trying to get Ford to buy it back now and get out of it. It must have been built on a Friday.
How does a door just fall off? This doesn't make any sense to me. Even in the dark time of American cars, late 70s to mid 90s, I never heard of such a thing.
Not sure if it will help or not, but I have the 2011 Limited model. Obviously no dual turbo's but the new Taurus is a really nice car. I have the fully loaded model with the radar cruise control, cross traffic/blis warnings are great, the crash proximity alert can get annoying sometimes, heated/cooled massaging seats are neat.
All around, this isn't the grandma gold Taurus of yesteryear. I am happy with my 28mpg on the highway, which is why I passed on the SHO.

Oh and my doors haven't fallen off..
Don't bullshit, you didn't pass on the sho just for 5 mpg.
I do indeed have a 2013 SHO with the performance package. I love it for the most part. The AWD is great. Especially in the bad weather. It laughs at snow and ice! It will get up and go (not race car fast) for a fat pig of car too. Handles well for its size as well. I think my biggest gripe is the cramped feeling of the driver position. I think it is mostly from the way the floor pan is formed for the command seating. It leaves a hump right where I normally put my foot and the center console takes up knee space. It's livable and none of my doors have fallen off.

You can take white off the list. White on anything is the best, including vehicles, women, and the Presidency.

Lol so bad ass bitch blew the doors of itself
Non tapatalk Sig so the butt hurt va-JJs can stop crying about not being able to turn it off.
IS line is too small inside.
335i is expensive to fix when it breaks.
Q50 is smaller inside than the SHO and the rear seats don't fold down.
I'm not opposed to other options, it just seems like the SHO is hard to beat at its (slightly used) price point. I never thought I would say that about a Taurus.
