FFS, it's not an easement on your property. Your property STOPS behind the sidewalk. Streets and sidewalks in 99.99% of neighborhoods are OWNED BY THE CITY. You own the sidewalk leading up to your house (behind the sidewalk running parallel to the street). There is no easement in front of your house granting public use of the sidewalk because you don't own the property that the sidewalk is sitting on. You cannot grant an easement on property you don't own. Look up the definition of an easement.
