Dude, this is easy. Pull the code for your town, and see if it's illegal to park the way they are. If it is, call a tow company when they do it. If you get your hands dirty on purpose with idiots, you're a bigger idiot.Originally posted by QIK46 View PostHey that's your deal if u need 5 cars. I'm not a legal scholar like some folks in this thread but if you plant some kind of trap and it goes wrong I'd imagine you might have some legal problems.
Yes it's your yard but many people could have a legal reason to walk through it, especially a section that may have an easement. Just say hypothetically there is a water main break while you are at work. The water department will walk through and could dig up your yard. Or maybe someone could be walking their dog and end up stepping on them. You'd be on the wrong end of a lawsuit.
I'd recommend rocks that are obvious or you could build some kind of flower pot, decorative fence, plant shrubs, etc... Even an old wash tub with a cactus would qualify as landscaping and probably stop the problem.
Or if you really want revenge there are ways to encourage bees/wasps to build nests in certain areas and we have these things called fire ants that'll happily infest a vehicle with some encouragement.

I'm not into to tearing up people's stuff. Not worth my time or the bs. Last thing I need is a neighbor war. It will all workoutOriginally posted by YALE View PostDude, this is easy. Sounds like you live on my street, except my neighbors not only have their personal trucks, but they all have work trucks and on the weekends their girl friends cars are there. Then I've got some Burmese living down the street with at least 10 people living in a 3 bedroom house to be able to afford the place. I don't live in a fancy neighborhood, but I guess you have to spend closer to 400k to avoid these problems.Originally posted by QIK46 View PostOnce I fix the rut this wknd I'm gonna see what happens. I'm only fixing it once then its nail time. I think my across street neighbor got tired of backing into his truck. It was right behind his driveway. Either way they have 5 cars for a 4 bed home. It's a big sausage fest over there with too many fucking cars.

I will definitely be taking a closer look at the neighborhood when we buy our next home, I own a corner lot, and provide neighborhood parking. Talked to a neighbor about it, and her excuse was that they don't have space in front of their house, but frankly, that's not my problem.

As long as they aren't blocking the mail box, or driveway, it is your problem. They aren't doing anything illegal. At least in TX anyways.Originally posted by Big A View PostTalked to a neighbor about it, and her excuse was that they don't have space in front of their house, but frankly, that's not my problem.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

There's nothing I can do, but it's still frustrating, thus I'll do my best to not have the same problem in our next house.Originally posted by bcoop View PostAs long as they aren't blocking the mail box, or driveway, it is your problem. They aren't doing anything illegal. At least in TX anyways.

I had the same issue with some former neighbors. 20 Mexicans in a 4 bedroom house, you can imagine the parking challenges it created. My issue, however, was that they would block my driveway. Them leaving their windows down, coupled with my sprinkler system fixed the problem.Originally posted by Big A View PostThere's nothing I can do, but it's still frustrating, thus I'll do my best to not have the same problem in our next house.
I wouldn't have had an issue had they not blocked my driveway, though. And as long as their car isn't a giant mismatched pile of shit, I don't think I'd mind really. Gives the illusion that someone is home, etc.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I live kind of in the country and most of the houses have a acre or so on a dead end street. One of my neighbors is older and lives with his mom, and also has strays as we call them, over and living there all the time, on and off. All of the driveways are around 200 feet and have plenty of parking. Nope, they always had cars everywhere in front of their house and across the street in the neighbors ditch. Well the guy across the street was having none of this and cut down about six good sized cedar trees and laid them at the edge of his property. Holy shit they were mad, called county twice, called the city marshal, etc. Well as much as you have the right to park where you want and not in the street, he has the right to put what ever the hell he wants on his property. OP I have seen T-Posts (very visible) on corners in alleys, barrels, 2 ton decorative stones, etc. Totally legal and they will only hit them once before they realize it is probably not a good idea to park there. Damage to their vehicle due to hidden shit could be construed as criminal mischief or if some dipshit stepped on them it may not go well for you.Whos your Daddy?

I will put one up. The bro doesn't leave his wheel on my grass but he drives up on it to put the front wheel up on his grass. Why not just stay on the concrete? Unless of course you just don't careOriginally posted by TeeShock View PostWe need pictures of said ruts and bro trucks on your lawn
