I think you give the neighbor a chance to correct first, then go to HOA if he ignores it. Which he obviously has.Originally posted by Ruffdaddy View PostAlways get the hoa involved...thats what you pay them for.
Too many people run to the HOA first, because they're scared to grow a pair and have a nice conversation with a neighbor they don't know. This is a huge contributing factor to overbearing HOAs.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Search craigslist.
Buy fire hydrant.
Place fire hydrant in front yard next to rut.
Enjoy tasty beverages.
Call local PD.
Kickback and watch brodozer squirm when PD arrives with tickets.
After PD leaves move hydrant to backyard for dogs recreation.
Step 1 - Done!

HOAs give them a warning a first time anyways, and set the precedence sooner. I typically go to someone first, but dont believe at all that it should be the norm if there's already an established rule.Originally posted by bcoop View PostI think you give the neighbor a chance to correct first, then go to HOA if he ignores it. The asshole is already being inconsiderate... I'm not going out of my way to play nice guy when someone else is already being a dick.

This is the truth. I went through something similar to this at my other house. The only thing the cop could do was site them for parking facing the opposite direction of the flow of traffic which he did. They then parked correctly (facing the direction of traffic) but still in front of our house.Originally posted by Ratt View Post
Also, if someone parks in front if your house and isn't blocking access to the walk up to your house, or your driveway, or your mailbox, then there's really nothing that can be done.

Step #1 in every prank (revenge or otherwise) should always be "don't go to jail."Originally posted by samuel642000 View PostWhile is truck is still there go to Home Depot and buy a bag of pea gravel.
