Not mad at ya. Ex co worker almost killed himself falling asleep. Hit a concrete barrier head on and crossed the hwy. luckily all he got was the barrier and nobody elseOriginally posted by LANTIRN View PostCall in. A few years ago I had to call in a semi truck driver that was all over the fucking place, every lane, off the highway, 70mph, 25mph, all on I20. I called that in real quick. Don't know if he was drunk or falling asleep but he was about to kill someone else or himself.

any and every time. Been hit twice by drunks, one put me in hospital for a some facial reconstruction and my back will never bee right, second one cost him his life. He left kids and a wife behind.
Running into the back of a truck deep in the triple digits will do that.
ZERO tolerance,
Edit, forgot I didnt know it tell I needed a copy of the accedent report about two years latter his BAC was .24
Called one in in Irving once, turned out was a elderly guy going into diabetic shock. Never know you maybe saving someones life.Last edited by sig239; 04-19-2015, 08:52 PM.

There was an old guy that ran into the rear bumper of one of our cars parked in the street at fairly low speed a while back. He was unresponsive (language barrier was a factor) but was awake and seemed to be having some kind of medical issue. If this had to happen to him, I'm glad he at least wasn't out in the hostile world of I-20 or 360 when it did.Originally posted by sig239 View Postany and every time. I call if I see it. Had too many people I know killed by drunks. I went to pick up my brother and cousin at a bar once, and saw a guy struggling to get into his car while I was walking in. I let it go, and 15 minutes later, he rear ended me at a red light. Thats what I get for looking the other way.
It is inexcusable to drink and drive. If you can afford to drink, you can afford an UBER.

They have for me before, I was coming home on 75 one night and this fucker comes out of nowhere and almost slams into the back of my truck. I was running 75-80 so he was moving.Originally posted by Juiced4v View PostDoes the law even do anything about it if you call it in?
Called it in and actually followed him, led the cops to where he went and they took care of it.

I've followed a few and the police will respond, might not be quickly but if you will follow the driver and lead the police to them they will usually show up.Originally posted by Cooter View PostBased on my experience, no

We called one in once. He was swerving all over the place (I45 North), kept pacing us whether we were doing 75 or 45. We ended up letting him get some distance on us and kept 911 informed with where he was. We saw when like 3 cop cars pulled him over. The 911 operator called back and advised he was very intoxicated, according to the officers.
