I don't have a Mustang, nor do probably half of the people on this site. I joined looking for Ford tech over a decade ago, and stuck around long after I got rid of the Ford because of just such threads.

I had M&M in Arlington do it since it involved welding. The car already had dual cats stock so the the midpipe was cut of behind each of them and the takeoff welded on there. The chassis was already drilled from the factory for the correct hanger components. The most expensive part of the conversion was getting a takeoff GT bumper cover with the dual cutouts and having it painted.

Thats right those were only single exhaust back then. I had a chance at a totalled `13 Shelby, and thought the quad tips would look nice. The buyer only wanted to motor and & interior. The biggest issues of course would be trimming down the rear bumer cover to add in the lower trim to accept the quad tips. I ended up passing because I didnt have anyone I trusted that could weld.

You`re just jealous. But you are right about the girl car part. The color attracts them, Ive had several come up and talk to me because they liked the color. It`s almost as good as walking the dog for meeting women.
