Hahaha solid post. This is the fucking content that gets me excited.Originally posted by YALE View PostMost Corvette sellers hold out for top dollar because they can afford to sit on the cars. They're not broke-dick foxbody sellers that are grateful when Whiteboy brings a jar of petroleum jelly with him.

They did have HPFP issues...so bad there was a recall and now warrantied for 10yr/120kmiles. Any luxury car takes a dump. The corvettes are pulling 50% of their value at 6 years old. The BMW does the same. There was an article saying the Audi A8, BMW 745s, etc are all the most depreciating cars that can be 50% of its value in 2 years.Originally posted by bluecollar View PostSo here's a question...why is BMW resale value so low? I was reading 8mpg's thread and saw the 335i mentioned. They seem awful cheap, even with average to lower mileage. What are the issues?
I still want to get back into a vette, but if I find something equally fun to drive for a great price then I may change my mind.

There's just a million of them and a lot of them are flooding the market because BMW na issued a recall under the California lemon law act. Google that. I've no issues with mine and it's a fun car. But it's not a vette.Originally posted by bluecollar View PostSo here's a question...why is BMW resale value so low? I was reading 8mpg's thread and saw the 335i mentioned.
