It's going to be really hard for a Twin Peaks to survive without alcohol sales. The TABC can and will pull their permit for any reason.Originally posted by blkpony98 View PostIt's a franchisee, they're not going anywhere.

Ya...ok...so if the Patriot Riders showed up, or any other "legit" biking groups, they'd been turned away? And what'd been the back-lash on that?Originally posted by Super Cubano View Post

PR move, I'm sure. TP has no shortage of people wanting to be franchisees. They can't build them fast enough.Originally posted by Ruffdaddy View PostShit...that happened quick. Im surprised they pulled the franchise that quick...i wonder if they have more data that we dont?Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

TABC has suspended their alcohol sales for 7 days. Waco PD has suggested TP take that time to cool off but left it up to TP to do as they want. If the were smart they'd take that suggestion but I don't see helping their PR.
Edit: I shoulda read the links

I dont undertand how this place stays in business. The food is awful and I'm really not that picky when it comes to chain restaurants. Went with a group of 15 and everyone got something different. Not one meal tasted decent.Originally posted by bcoop View PostPR move, I'm sure. TP has no shortage of people wanting to be franchisees. They can't build them fast enough.
Their alcohol sales must be keeping them open and I will admit, the beer was good.

The food is better than most Breastaurants imo. Their chicken fried steak is better than most places, at least they make it fresh in house rather than frying up some frozen shit. I also like the meatloaf, but admittedly, it's the brown mushroom gravy that I like. I hate meatloaf normally.Originally posted by A_A_G View PostI dont undertand how this place stays in business. Bikini's, Tilted Kilt, and Hooter's all have fucking terrible food, so the bar isn't set very high. As for how they stay in business? Hot broads in skimpy outfits, flirting for tips is a fool proof business model. It doesn't really matter if the food is shit. Look at the empire Hooter's built on some shitty wings. The margins on alcohol are high as well.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

It's like Hooters, the food is crappy but the appeal is the scantily clad ladies. Beer and food is bonus.Originally posted by A_A_G View PostI dont undertand how this place stays in business. I don't know anyone who goes there for the food. I'm baffled as to why you can't figure out why it still stays packed. Every time I've been there have been chicks prancing around damn near naked. And while not "take home to Mom" material, the average hotness level seemed to be higher than that of Hooters or any of the other successful breastaurants where the food is no better.Originally posted by A_A_G View PostI dont undertand how this place stays in business. Did Hooters rebound? I remember the episode of undercover boss a few years back saying sales were slowing.Originally posted by bcoop View PostBikini's, Tilted Kilt, and Hooter's all have fucking terrible food, so the bar isn't set very high. But yeah, I avoid hooters now too. The food has gotten so bad in the last couple of years. They were some what decent 10-15 years ago when I frequented quite a bit.

didnt they shut that one down?Originally posted by diablo rojo View PostI went to the TP in Bedford a while back. Sat with a group for 15 minutes without ever being approached for a drink order, let alone food. All of the staff were too busy sitting on everyone elses laps.
