We (AA) upgrade our seats frequently, so it's not uncommon to see the old ones for sale. Had a friend buy a couple First Class seats out of a DC-10 for an old van..Natural law. Sons are put on this earth to trouble their fathers.Comment

Yeah, they're getting tighter for sure.. The seat manufacturers are shrinking the seats a bit, so us fat boys will feel the pain! They use the term "Pitch" to describe the distance between seats. One time they (sales) decided that we needed to increase pitch and remove seats to attract new customers. didn't work as people didn't want to pay a higher ticket price for more leg room.Originally posted by inline 6 View Post
