    I don't have a set commute. My territory stretches from ranger to pecos and down to ft. Stockton and Sonora up to Graham, vernon.

    Mostly it's been between Abilene and odessa. Just bought the truck in October.

    I just filled up for the 2nd time today.

    Make sure they don't hose you out of the scrap value of what's left if it totals, that's likely to be more than half of the difference you are expecting. Then talk about rental if they speed things up, if you agree not to bill them for it that could easily be another $1k of wiggle room.

    Yeah the high milage depending on the car may hurt,but a Direct Repair Shop will usually have some pull with the adjusters. Hell in some cases they won't even send out an adjuster and take the DRP shops word for it.
