    When I quit the daily grind, probably going to get CHL and do runs every so often. Seems like it would be fun for a year or two.

                Ill give a welder who loves what he does a lot more credit than a trucker. That's skilled labor, with the satisfaction of knowing you built something, so to speak. A career in welding, while not glamorous and a hot dirt job, has it's benefits.
