Surface and iPad are out at that price. Keyboards cost about $100 extra as well.Originally posted by white trash wagon View PostLets say $300, or less for starters
If considering new, you can look at some of the cheaper android tablets out there like the HP 10 Plus. But in all honestly, even though I work for HP, I wouldn't touch that POS. Here it is if you want to see it:
Samsung Galaxy tablets are pretty good. I'm just not much of an Android fan. Perhaps because my HP experience soured me on it.
Select and compare the latest features and innovations available across Samsung's entire line of Galaxy Tablets. Find the perfect Samsung tablet for you!
I have a personal preference for the iPad right now but the Surface is pretty sweet. Windows 8.1 was the only thing I really didn't like about it. I'm waiting to see what MS does with the Surface Pro 4 before I make any upgrade decisions. It's still hard to believe MS has gotten their act together.

Yup, I use mine but mostly for work. I've got a desktop PC that is over five years old but it still works so well that I have no reason to get rid of it. Those Intel core i7 processors (the first generation) are outstanding. All I've done is put in an SSD and maxed out the RAM. It runs Windows 10 like a champ.Originally posted by matts5.0 View PostMy wife has a surface, we have a few ipads, I rarely use my laptop anymore.
