The Alvarado Police Department stole their trash cans and impregnated their cats.Originally posted by DennySo, what's the outcome?"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

Well, $2010 later, we own our trailer again.
So it's just the cost of the fine, at this point? I mean, we had a "stolen trailer" that now has an assigned VIN and a fresh title...Originally posted by kingjason View PostSo anyone could then just steal a trailer and grind off the VIN. I mean if all your going to get is a ticket. Hey, I get it, it sucks, and a lot of people do it. Doesn't make it right. There is a shit load of stolen trailers out there and if you ever had a trailer stolen you wouldn't feel this way. Easy way to fix this. Do away with BS homemade trailer tags. Either get a builders VIN like a street rod, or bonded title. I have seen very few actual homemade trailers in my lifetime.

They are our personal property, and are ours to go pick up anytime. We just decided to let them stay and buy the trailer back, you know, so we dont have to unload and reload them later.Originally posted by Grimpala View PostSo what happened with the tires/wheels on the rack?"If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

The listing has the trailers serial number on it so why wasn't it returned to the "rightful" owner if it was really stolen?Originally posted by Baron Von Crowder View PostWell, $2010 later, we own our trailer again.

Why would you pay 2k for that trailer when you can build a much better one for half that without give a POS PD your hard earned money???????
You willing handed them 2010 reasons to keep doing this same kind of bullshit.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.
