With Internet purchases as easy as they are these days, are things like Amway even around anymore? I remember they had some weird rules, like no store fronts.

Amway has moved to an online store format. My parents are actually bringing in anywhere from $4-4.5k/month plus they get a semi annual bonus check of at least $10k. They've also gone on trips to Hawaii, Caribbean's, cruises and we've all gone to Disney World all paid as well courtesy of Amway. It takes dedication to get anywhere like any other business.

I did Primerica back in the late '90s. I got my insurance and financial planner licenses. I even sold quite a few policies. I still have my life insurance policy and the guy that sold that to me went on to their "senior vice president" level. Which really just means they've built up a big enough pyramid to make some really good money.

At the end of the day though, it was still selling insurance. Too boring for me.
