Sears. Not only are they reversible but they are washer and dishwasher safe.

for that money you can probably find a nice hickey freeman (will last decades) or similar suit at nordstrom rack and get it tailored. Look for 100% wool or wool/cashmere. No polyester EVER. Make sure the jacket fits well in the shoulders, everything else can be tailored.

You can buy good brand suit separates in various fitments (sport, slim, flat front pants, low rise, relaxed, etc) at department stores. Either way, I would still advise getting the sleeve and pant length tailored if not they don't sit perfectly. Macys is typically cheaper than Dillards, Nordstrom is nicer for sure but costs more, Nordstrom rack might be a good suggestion but I cant handle places like that.

Watch out for some brand name outlets, they sell outlet only stuff with crap quality (like banana republic). Also instead of MW/KG/JoS, you can hit up a Perry Ellis outlet and pay ~$80-100 for a suit coat + pants. I have a 3 pc from them and the quality is quite nice for the $100 I spent.

Its all relative i guess...but ive never gotten a good fitting and high quality suit from MW. Ive had 4 over 6 years and only bought the last one because i was a groomsmen in a wedding. They are finally making better athletic cut stuff but still not high quality.

My girlfriend works at a high end hotel in Uptown. She says the all the guys there from the VP and down get suits from suit supply. I plan to get my next one from there. They are all around 500!

It's been a while since I have been there (6-8 years or so) but I have bought several suits / sports coats and slacks at Men's Wearhouse and always had a good experience. I even rented a tux from them at one point. Was very easy since they did all the measurements there and had everything tailored. They also had a good range of price points.

Have they gone downhill or something?

Im not a fan of mens warehouse. Too many mistakes and low quality. Over priced for what you get as well.
