Transmission was acting fine. Runs like a top and shifts smoothly. I ran it all day to the VA and back at 70 or so, cruise on and it acted fine except for the AC stopping on the way up there. I had zero problem outside of that until I went to crank the car to move it this afternoon when I got home.I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Would love to. Car won't crank. Battery is secured with the factory hold downs, the terminals are tight and clean. The anti- theft is flashing like mad and then pops out a 1-6 codeOriginally posted by svo855 View PostCheck voltage at the battery with the car off and then when running. My 03GT would do the same shit randomly. I would just disconnect the battery cables wait five minutes reconnect. And that usually work, It just didn't recognize my key at times. After buying a new key and key fob I never had an issue again.

Put a volt meter on the battery. What you are describing sounds like the alternator died and you were running total loss until the battery voltage dropped below about 10 volts. Make sure you still have a belt turning things under the hood.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostBattery is hot. Everything is lit up like a Christmas tree, the car isn't clicking, the lights aren't dimming, it's like when I hit the key absolutely nothing happens. Nothing dims, the anti-theft light keeps going nuts and even switching keys didn't work.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

It's a PATS failure. It's either the key(s), transceiver, or the bus link to the ECM. I bet if you plugged in a OBDII scan tool, you would get a P1260 trouble code. It won't trigger the check engine light. I had the same thing happen on both of my Fox4 Mustangs. I had Andy Moye disable PATS in my tune files as a work around. This may not be an option for you. To fix the actual problem is rather expensive.
