well i can see that i could be more sensitive or "in tune" with your needs. i apologize for not seeing this earlier. i truly do. you are the bright spot in my life. i cannot afford to lose you. you complete me. give me a chance to be the man you want....for this i beg.

FYI: i just got off the phone with the lady at the antique store. i will be picking up that 18th century italian walnut credenza you have had your eye on before i head home this eve.

    god bless.

I spent the 100 on roses.

I can't all of a sudden decide to be a cheap ass when I spend at least that in Ammo at the gun range.

    $100 for flowers? That's nuts!

Alan rarely buys them, since they die! Not a good 'investment'! lol

I think tulips are nice, something unique is always good instead of the standard roses. I wouldn't spend more than $40-$50 on flowers ever though. Then again, I am cheap and practical.

LOL You would get TONS more props from her work friends if you were to take your lunch break and deliver them to her. That kind of stuff makes the girls gush and say, "Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! How SWEEEEEEEET!"

And I telecommute, so the dog already knows that my man is a badass.

He spends less money, and he's put more effort into it than just making a phone call and giving his credit card info.

Now, there are exceptions. If there's a considerable distance between the couple and he sends flowers, the thought is well appreciated.

Edit: I'm not going to bitch about ANY amount of effort a guy puts into doing something to brighten my day, but like the other girls have said, there are much better ways to go than the ridiculous mark-up on flowers and delivery charges, and I'm a cheap ass.

Im glad my girlfriend understands that flowers die in a week and she would much rather have something else. not that it lasts any longer than 15 minutes but it gets the job done!
