Valentines Day flowers

I will usually get flowers, bear, balloon and card.. Then after work I get my valentine!!! :-) always does the trick!!

Alan rarely buys them, since they die! Not a good 'investment'! lol

I think tulips are nice, something unique is always good instead of the standard roses. I wouldn't spend more than $40-$50 on flowers ever though. Then again, I am cheap and practical.

Yeah, flowers are pretty and all. They're nice to get, but I don't give a care if they're delivered to me by a florist or not. It actually means more if a guy gets flowers from the store and delivers them himself. He spends less money, and he's put more effort into it than just making a phone call and giving his credit card info.

Now, there are exceptions. If there's a considerable distance between the couple and he sends flowers, the thought is well appreciated.

Im glad my girlfriend understands that flowers die in a week and she would much rather have something else. not that it lasts any longer than 15 minutes but it gets the job done!
