To clarify, the ones I have heard about were typically in the carry on luggage. I am guessing the person manning the xray machine just wasn't paying attention.

I bet it does happen all the time. I've only seen someone caught though and it was warning enough for me....

I was heading to a business meeting in Midland one time with a co-worker and friend. We were running late and he grabbed his bag and ran into the airport.

I ended up solo'ing that meeting. It was quite a PITA for him. I think after all said and done he was out close to 10K and basically lost his weapon over it. (Long story that I don't feel like typing out)

All over a simple mistake, but 'demz da rulez.

Oh he also spent the night in jail as well. Took us quite awhile to even figure out what jail he was in...etc...etc.

I do not agree with weapons not permitted in hospitals and especially sporting events when you have a CHL. Sporting events are where I tend to want it. Hospitals I sort of get because of the emotions that can happen, but I still don't care for it on principle alone.

Anybody else tired of damn near everything turning into a gun control debate? Especially since 99% of us (myself included) are on the same side?

    Shit gets old.

Hope your friend pulls thru, soap.

I am very sorry that an innocent man was shot but a man pulled the trigger on the gun and the gun did not "Make" him do it. How many other guns do you believe were there being carried illegal that were not used to harm an innocent person? I personally know of two.

Freedom is not without its perils. Freedom also requires personal responsibility and personal accountability both of which are missing from a large segment of the population.

I hope that Soap's buddy pulls through but I know that chances are that he will not. Shots to the neck are nearly always fatal.
How exactly does someone other than you choosing to exclusively carry legally become any of your business? It is not.

My ex made it through airport screening with a Ruger LCP in her purse; twice. When I picked her up at the airport and asked her where she had left her gun she nearly turned white.

Yeah, well they caught the guy that did it and he will pay for his transgressions in a court of law...

No shit, everyone is acting like he got shot inside of Cowboy Stadium, he got shot outside in a parking lot, while involved in some type of brawl. This kind of thing happens every single day across the country...

While I agree that he should have been minding his own business him not doing so did not warrant being killed over in this situation. Shooting an innocent person who did not have it coming in the back is pretty classless.

I will assume that you are being serious. So the count is up to 5 guns that were not used to harm anyone. Anyone else know of any?
