Checked on these, there are some informal video reviews. Seems alright to me, but out of stock everywhere.Originally posted by Baron Von Crowder View Posthavent seen a test of the cooler, but I would assume it would do about as well.

Edit: None were durability reviews. Just ice retention and opinions. One fisherman indicated he was getting 9 days out of it. Unknown if used just for ice retention or like a beer cooler.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

Pretty impressive, though I would assume that a YETI or the like would do about the same
Default Test is over
The ice is gone and the water temperature has risen above freezing, so to recap I put 40 lbs of ice in the cooler that hadn't been pre-cooled along with room temperature canned beverages, the test began on Friday morning and concluded this morning, so I was able to get 10 plus days out of the 7 day rated cooler."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

I sell the RTIC's personalized with vinyl. Everyone that has bought one and also owns a yeti, says they perform just the same. I do a TON of business based on price point. $25 vs $45Originally posted by cobrajet69 View Post

I also bought at the same time, the equivalent of this one from RTIC - for half the price. Only had one of each. I have no doubt in quality & performance being matched.Originally posted by black2002ls View PostI sell the RTIC's personalized with vinyl. Any different than a vinyl window sticker? Any different application techniques? I have a sticker on one of mine and it's starting to peel and chip. Always hand washed.Originally posted by black2002ls View PostI sell the RTIC's personalized with vinyl. Everyone that has bought one and also owns a yeti, says they perform just the same. Nope, I use the same stuff the sign companies use. If you need/want a replacement let me knowOriginally posted by Strychnine View PostAny different than a vinyl window sticker? So just as a consideration, I ended up buying a Pelican 65qt cooler used off craigslist. It has a lifetime warranty and I noted that there was an ever so slight warp in the lid that is noticeable on the corners. Stuff has stayed mostly frozen and cold for several days, but I decided to see if their customer service is still any good.
I will preface that I've always preferred Pelican products, specifically their cases.
They are sending me a new cooler and having me drill 3 holes in the lid of the existing one (so warranty cannot be reused). Then I either dispose of or keep the existing one. I may convert it to a bait tank or something.
Pelican has always done good by me in the past. Not a super fast process, but typically you can rely on them honoring their warranties.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

Not that I've used mine a lot, haven't had to go days without a fridge recentlyOriginally posted by bcoop View PostI've always heard the Pelican is great and their customer service is as well.
But I really like the construction/locks, and handles on the Pelican way better than the others
