I am treating me and my girl to a new home theater. So far I've got an Onkyo 7.2 A/V Receiver, a TX- RZ800. I've been demoing some Bowers and Wilkins speakers and a 55 inch LG OLED TV.... model LG55EF9500 flat and LG55EG9600 curved edition of the same thing. Same price, too. Been checking out a pretty good Sony and a Samsung as well but Damn the black levels on an OLED are astounding.
The B&W speakers are a lower tier tower set but still sound superb. Gonna invest in good surrounds and a damn good center and sub. I'm simply spacing purchases out and using my offshore bonus on each of my next 2 hitches plus while I'm off hitch I go do a couple quick installs for my last company to cover the cost.
I've asked for a PlayStation from my girl, and for her I'm getting an Amazon Echo, some Pandora charms for her bracelet, a pink Benchmade knife, a watch, some NFLShop stuff and a few other clothes items.
The dog is getting an RC Car.
Also we are going to take a NYC trip. My aunt has a midtown Manhattan flat we're gonna stay in while she takes a trip. 3 years ago our lives were fucked and all we bought was dope and a candy bar and a handful of smokes. What misery.
This year we are gonna enjoy ourselves. Not boastful, grateful. Gonna do something to give back, as well.

Im sure a spare room out there is about the cost of a house out here ehh?Originally posted by Big A View PostNot a clue really, my wants are too big to be considered xmas gifts, those being a car and another bedroom. Outside those I buy what I need when I need it.
Make sure the RC car is powerful enough to run over grass and carpet without being immediately caught. I used to have this giant hummer for my dog that could negotiate most terrain but wasnt going to hurt her. Then when it went out we got what we thought was an off road RC car and it was slow as hell on the grass. She would catch it within 2 seconds.Originally posted by 93LXHORSE View PostI am treating me and my girl to a new home theater. So far I've got an Onkyo 7.2 A/V Receiver, a TX- RZ800. Not sure if you are up for DIY stuff...but you can save a ton of money on nice speakers or have much nicer speakers for the money if you want to build some. Im about to buy a set of Fusion 15 speakers from DIYsoundgroup. For a sub, do some research. SVS, Rhythmik, HSU...dont buy all the junk from Best Buy. The three companies I listed I believe all do in home audition with free shipping back within 30-45 days if you dont like it. I loved my SVS PB12NSD (still have it) but it doesnt compare to the two DIY 18s I built.Originally posted by 93LXHORSE View PostI am treating me and my girl to a new home theater.
