FORT WORTH – Arlington Heights High School was placed on lock down Thursday afternoon after a student fired a weapon near the campus, said officials with the Fort Worth Independent School District.

Some of you know that I mentor to kids. One particular 16 year old, young man I mentor lived in this neighborhood. He was assault and robbed at gun point. Turns out, this is the same student that robbed him. After he was robbed, his parents gave me guardianship and he lives will my family. I am glad that I got him out of that neighborhood.
