Who said everyone hates old trucks? I've owned several 73-87 C-10 trucks. I still own one. I love them actually. But to ignore the monumental differences in engines from 1987 vs today, and all the other technology that has made towing almost effortless these days is foolish. truth be told i'm really not either. Also got a house project, and that saps a lot of money from the old truck project. Especially when the old truck technically doesn't need anything. Hard to justify buying new parts when the house actually needs work.
